Hi, I'm Madeleine - a textile artist/maker who also takes photographs and writes stories. Most of my work has its roots in science, maths or science fiction. The name Knot Unktnot has a specific mathematical meaning but it also reflects a lot of what happens in the studio!

1, 2 & 3 August - OPEN STUDIOS, Coburg House Art Studios, 15 Coburg Street, Edinburgh. This is the 20th year that Coburg House artists have opened their studio doors to the public. I've been taking part for 17 of these years. Come and visit all the artists!
9 & 10 August - TEA GREEN SUMMER MARKET, National Galleries Scotland: Portrait, Queen Street, Edinburgh. I'm really looking foward to showing some of my latest work at this prestigious event in a stunning, city centre venue.
